Name/nickname? Sara or Miru c:
Age/gender? Turning 18 very soon! & that's still in question xD
Location? MA - U.S.
How did you find out about popkei? Well, I became very interested in JRock+Visual/Oshare kei, which migrated to all other Japanese street fashions!
Favorite bands/music? B.A.P. =♥w♥= and ONE OK ROCK
Favorite clothing brands (any type)? I love Angelic Pretty and BTSSB, but I don't wear Lolita ^^; hmm
What are some of the things you like to do? Art :D, singing terribly, dancing like a hippo, sleeping, and eating
What are some of your favorite 80's characters? Alvin and the Chipmunks, Thundercats, and Scooby doo is close enough
What are some 80's stuff you like? The bold fashion ~ legwarmers ~ and Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics *O*
Have you ever made your own clothes/accessories? Show us? Erm I've tried making a few bows, but I lost a few in my mass of a room >O> (Maybe I threw them away with the urge to just get rid of everything while cleaning Q.Q;?)
Any photos/outfits you want to show of yourself? If not, please share at least 3 inspiration photos relating to this community. I'm just starting to get back into Jfashion - I've worn decora/fairy kei in-between sammich fusion (when fairy kei was not as well known and I was just learning about the different styles) but that's kind of embarassing to show >//< so here's some photos I really like!

(Moco - she's too cute)

Ah me too~ have you ever been part of a livejournal group before?

Welcome~
Haha sadly no, not truly! It makes me a bit sad that not too many go on here and I don't really know anyone who likes Jfashion, but it doesn't hurt to join c:
Recently I just joined egl (though I only have one lolita item...so I can only admire people's posts) and egl-comm-sales though in hopes of finding things I'd like to buy.
How about you? ^^

ah, all of this is very new and exciting to me! I started my own little shop (magicaldaze.storenvy.com) but I sell most of my pieces before I can get them up online- though not many people I know are interested in jfashion, there are a lot of girls I know who appreciate the bright colors and such and buy my pieces on the weekend~
Oh, yeah! I watch those communities too, though I don't plan on creating a lolita wardrobe, I just love the inspiration! A while ago I was very into classic lolita, but just now I have put my two main pieces up for sale in the egl sales posts, because I lost interest and thought the clothes needed more love, you know?
Hey, the things I just posted are $25 and $20, very cheap (dress and skirt!!!!) you should check them out~ its a mix of retro and lolita I think you might like it!

Oh that's really cool! Yeah I'm actually currently easing my way into making items too for sale ^^, but oo the things are your shop are so cute *^*! I may buy in the future (mostly depends on the amount, if any, that I can spend when I'm in college =.=)~
Woah! Same about the classic thing (well I only have one brand skirt)...I plan to sell it...but I have to get over the fact that it's my baby...literally since it's from BTSSB XD! pun not intended until I read over what I read haha ><

Goodness you have a brand piece?? Ahh l-u-c-k-y!! My main reason for not focusing on lolita was the super price? I'm bad with saving, and while I like making my pieces, and thrifting, I really admire people who can get those things, i realize they are expensive!
If I PM you my email, could you send me a pic? I just think its super rad~ As a fellow beginner jpop fashion addict, I admire your ability to get a brand piece, you really seem to be good with goals?

Ah I wouldn't say lucky XD I bought it a long time ago when I was visiting family in California and basically splurge at the opportunity haha - the skirt is a very simple/old school piece (BTSSB Karami skirt in ivory)
http://lolibrary.org/apparel/karami-skirt-2010 If you still want a picture you can PM your email if you'd like, yes.
>.< I'm also bad at saving because I end up saving a decent amount and blowing through a chunk </3. I plan to stick to bodyline for awhile because I really like their designs! Sorry long reply! Sometimes I type too much.

Hello, I also admire Moco and her style, she is one of my favorite models on Kera. And Mania Q is actually where I began buying pastel clothing for my wardrobe. I didn't think this community was still active but its nice to know people are posting.
29th-Jan-2014 03:36 am (UTC)
Ah I've heard of Mania Q before but never actually visited
*Cries because everything is cute and I'm on a budget
but good info c:! I like the idea of wardrobe posts like on EGL (still building mine though), but yeah the community isn't too active. I was hoping it would revive, even if it's a bit, which it did XD!
29th-Jan-2014 04:30 am (UTC)
Actually that's one of the reasons why I love Mania Q, everything is decent pricing and not too expensive like lets say Nile Perch ^_^ and yes I originally started off as a Lolita but fell in love with fairy kei/spank kei so I am also still building my wardrobe :) I'm happy that there are others still here too lol and from the US too ^_^
30th-Jan-2014 10:05 pm (UTC)
Yeah pretty good prices! Have you bought through Mania Q?
Ah, have to fight the urge to spend or else I'll be broke haha.
Oh I see! For me it's similar. I always gravitate towards classic Lolita for some reason, even though the substyle isn't particularly my favorite. I want to wear sweet so then I decided the happy medium = casual, fairy kei, or/and cult party c:!~ Yes, we just have to find each other XD!

>.> my replies are getting longer and longer ~ sorry >.

Yes! I have ordered from Mania Q, multiple times :) They sell tutus for like $12-20!!! I have always been a pastel lover so sweet Lolita has been my favorite but brands like angelic pretty also tend to make clothing perfect for fairy kei too and don't don't worry about having longer replies lol mine are probably the same ^_^ also I love cult party kei but more into the pastel cult party kei.

Oh! If you do make a blog let me know. I'll definitely check it out ^^~ Reviews are fun to read and are helpful haha
